- 2 tbsp (25g) Granulated sugar
- 1 tsp (5g) Baking powder
- 0.25 tsp (1.5g) Fine sea salt
- 1 large Egg (room temperature)
- 0.75 cup (180ml) Whole milk
- 1 tsp (5ml) Vanilla extract
- 0.25 cup (30g) Powdered sugar
- 2g Cooking spray (Neutral oil)
Instructions:
- Combine 1.5 cups All purpose flour, 2 tbsp Granulated sugar, 1 tsp Baking powder, and 0.25 tsp Fine sea salt in a large bowl.
- Add 1 large Egg, 0.75 cup Whole milk, and 1 tsp Vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Whisk until the batter is silky and thick like heavy cream.
- Let the mixture sit for about 3 minutes.
- Set your machine to 375°F (190°C) and let it run for 3 minutes.
- Place a small piece of parchment paper in the basket and lightly coat with 2g Cooking spray.
- Using a piping bag or snipped zip top bag, squeeze small 1 inch nuggets or squiggles onto the parchment. Don't let them touch or they will fuse into one giant pancake.
- Cook for 4 minutes until the tops look dry and slightly puffed.
- Carefully flip each bite using tongs and spray the tops again with a tiny bit of oil.
- Cook for another 3 to 4 minutes until the exterior is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Remove immediately and toss with 0.25 cup Powdered sugar while still hot.
