Ingredients:
- 1 lb cremini mushrooms, cleaned and halved
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp dried thyme
- 0.25 tsp cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Wipe mushrooms with a damp paper towel to clean. Slice larger caps into uniform halves or quarters to ensure even cooking.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the avocado oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, dried thyme, and black pepper.
- Add the mushrooms to the bowl and toss vigorously until every piece is thoroughly coated in the oil-emulsion.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange mushrooms in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through at the 6-minute mark to ensure even browning and crisping.
