- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

- Pat the chicken wings extremely dry with paper towels to remove surface moisture.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika until evenly coated.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C).
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on a wire cooling rack set over a baking sheet.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until the skin is mahogany-colored and firm.

- Immediately transfer the hot wings from the oven into the sauce bowl and toss rapidly to coat.
