Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions:
- Place a 10-inch cast iron skillet in the oven and preheat to 425°F (218°C).
- Carefully remove the hot pan from the oven and add the butter, swirling until completely melted and foaming.
- Combine flour, milk, eggs, honey, vanilla, and salt in a blender and blend on high for 30 seconds until smooth and frothy.
- Allow the batter to sit for 5 minutes to let air bubbles settle.
- Quickly pour the batter into the center of the sizzling skillet.
- Immediately return the pan to the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes without opening the door, until the edges are towering and mahogany-brown.
