Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb lean ground beef or stew meat
  • 12 oz egg noodles
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small onion minced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp flour or cornstarch slurry
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Brown the meat in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Sauté onion and garlic, then stir in flour.
  3. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; simmer until thickened.
  4. Boil egg noodles separately until al dente; drain.
  5. Combine noodles with beef and gravy; stir and simmer.
  6. Adjust seasoning, then serve hot.
