- 2 yellow onions sliced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère or Swiss cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Season and sear chicken in a hot pan until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
